THE BRITISH TODAY Ⅱ

Like many boys first dream was to be a football player. because Football is big business and football player can gets many fame and glory.
Many fans buy a replica shirt. replica shirt has two different shirt. one for home games, the other for away games. some fans buy both. But they are not cheap. each shirt costs about 8000 yen.
Even famous soccer team change the uniforms quickly.
Many fans are worried what is fashionable today might not be fashionable tomorrow...... 



appear:〜のように見える(思える)You appeared on TV and you even got paid as well!!
earn:稼ぐ A top player earns more money in one week than I earn in a whole year.
remain:依然として〜のままである: They say that soon only the big teams will remain.

THE BRITISH TODAY

This time I borrow the British cultures book.
The first chapter is party of British. many british people like the party.
I think japanese people same thinking.... because pub is very expensive and we can't make noise.
Home party giving the freedom we can play whatever music we like, and make a lot of noise. but troublesome clean a room after the party......


sophisticated:教養のある 高級な   It would not sound so sophisticated and clever.
complain:不満を言  neighbours will complain to the police about the noise.
spill: こぼす the guests will spill red wine on the carpets.

I forgot.......

Today I can't borrow the new book in library.
Because I forgot my student card. 
My friend have two books. I can borrow the one side book.
Title is [Matilda] introduction is very difficult but I can understand a little.
Matilda is a very clever and unusual little girl. her parents are too busy.
I think Matilda is bullying for anybody. because she is very clever some people think she is very strange....


clever: 賢い 利口な Matilda is very clever and unusual little girl.
frightening:恐ろしい And the frightening Miss Trunchbull, head teacher at Crunchem Hall School.

I'm thinking Level down.....

I changed the book.
Next book title is [Hunchback of NOTRE-DOME].
but this book is Level3.....
I thinking Level down  for my read book.
I without much ability cannot follow Level3 books now.
Tomorrow I'm going to library I'll borrow the new book.

exist:        存在する This wonderful church excited the young writer and he placed it at the center of the action.

The Prisoner of Zenda

I'm reading The Prisoner of Zenda now.
This book is Level3.
It is very difficult for me....I can't understand the content of story.
But I'll make every effort. maybe I need many reading time.

This book is very good! because this book used many I don't know words.
It's very good for me.
Now I reading P15 I want to read finish next week.

Recently I'm starting read new book. Title is 「DEAD MAN'S ISLAND」.
main persons name Carol.
I think this is very sad story....... because suddenly dide Carols father.......
Reason is plane accident. From now on how advance the story......
I can't forecast.......
